1. Overview
Welcome to Playful Pathways! These Terms of Service govern your use of our online store, website, digital resources, and services.
The terms “Playful Pathways,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Playful Pathways Developmental Consulting LLC, a Georgia limited liability company.
We provide educational and developmental resources, parent and educator guidance, professional learning materials, and related consulting services. Our online store is powered by Shopify.
By accessing our store or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our store.
2. Eligibility and Account Information
Purchases must be made by individuals who are at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction or by an authorized adult on behalf of an organization.
You agree to provide accurate and current information when placing an order. If you create a customer account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
3. Our Products and Services
Playful Pathways offers products and services that may include:
- Downloadable parent guides, worksheets, and educational resources
- Professional learning materials and educational videos
- Parent and educator consultations
- School and developmental support services
- Workshops, presentations, and facilitated learning experiences
Descriptions, pricing, availability, and included materials are provided on the relevant product or service page.
We strive to represent our offerings accurately. However, individual experiences, needs, and outcomes vary, and we cannot guarantee specific educational, behavioral, or developmental results.
We may modify, discontinue, or update products and services as our offerings evolve.
4. Educational Purpose and Professional Boundaries
Our resources and services are intended to support understanding, reflection, planning, and informed decision-making related to learning, behavior, and child development.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our offerings are educational and consultative in nature. They do not constitute medical care, psychological treatment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, or a substitute for an individualized evaluation by an appropriately licensed professional.
Purchasing a digital resource does not establish an ongoing consulting relationship with Playful Pathways.
Consulting engagements may require a separate agreement describing their scope, responsibilities, fees, confidentiality practices, and other applicable conditions.
If a child or family requires urgent medical, mental health, or safety assistance, contact an appropriate qualified professional or emergency service.
5. Orders and Payment
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product or service. An order is accepted when we confirm it and payment has been successfully processed.
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes and additional charges, if any, will be presented during checkout.
We reserve the right to correct pricing or product-description errors, refuse fraudulent transactions, and cancel orders when reasonably necessary. If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue an appropriate refund.
Payment processing is provided through Shopify and its supported payment providers.
6. Digital Products and Delivery
Digital products are generally delivered electronically after successful payment, through a download link, email, customer account, or another method described at checkout.
No physical product will be shipped when an item is identified as a digital download.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate email address and maintaining a compatible device and software to access purchased files.
If a download link fails, a file is incorrect, or access is interrupted, please contact hello@ourplayfulpathways.org so we can assist.
Any stated download limits or access periods will be disclosed on the product page or during delivery.
7. Permitted Use and Intellectual Property
Unless a product description or separate license expressly provides otherwise, purchasing a digital resource grants the purchaser a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to download and use the material for personal or individual professional reference.
Parents and caregivers may use purchased materials within their own household. Educators and professionals may use resources for their own learning, planning, and reference, consistent with the license provided.
Purchasing a resource does not grant permission to:
- Redistribute, resell, or publicly post the files
- Upload complete resources to shared drives, public websites, or resource libraries accessible to unlicensed users
- Reproduce or distribute copies for colleagues, clients, families, or entire school teams without permission
- Present the materials as original work created by someone else
- Modify and resell the resources or incorporate them into products offered for sale
Schoolwide, organizational, group-training, or redistribution rights require separate written authorization unless expressly included with the purchase.
All original text, graphics, illustrations, designs, frameworks, and other content remain the property of Playful Pathways or their respective rights holders. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Refunds and Cancellations
Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.
Because downloadable products are delivered electronically and may be accessed immediately, digital purchases are generally nonrefundable after delivery, except where required by law or otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.
We will work to resolve technical access problems, incorrect files, and other legitimate fulfillment issues.
Consultations, workshops, appointments, and other scheduled services may have separate cancellation, rescheduling, and refund conditions. These will be communicated before purchase or booking when those services become available.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Relationship With Shopify
Playful Pathways is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with Playful Pathways. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Playful Pathways, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Playful Pathways.
10. Privacy and Information Sharing
Personal information collected through our store is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Shopify and authorized service providers may process information necessary to operate the store, fulfill orders, process payments, and provide customer support.
Please do not submit confidential educational records, medical records, or sensitive information about a child through ordinary checkout fields or public product reviews. If such information is needed for a consulting engagement, we will communicate an appropriate process for sharing it.
Information shared privately during a consulting engagement is not considered public feedback or permission to publish a child’s or family’s experiences.
11. Feedback and Reviews
We welcome reviews, suggestions, and feedback about our products and services.
If you voluntarily submit a public review or testimonial, you grant Playful Pathways permission to display or share that submission for business purposes, subject to applicable law and any separate permissions required.
This permission does not extend to confidential client communications, private consultation materials, educational records, or identifying information about children merely because those materials were shared with us.
We may remove public content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, or violates another person’s rights.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
Our store may include links to third-party websites or use external platforms for payment processing, file delivery, scheduling, or other functions.
These providers may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or independent practices of websites and services outside our control.
13. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website, products, and services lawfully and respectfully.
You may not interfere with the security or operation of the store; attempt unauthorized access; distribute malicious software; impersonate another person; collect other users’ personal information without authorization; or reproduce, scrape, or exploit our content in violation of applicable law or these Terms.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, our intellectual property, or the security of the store.
14. Accuracy and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information and reliable access to our store. However, occasional errors, interruptions, technical difficulties, or changes in availability may occur.
We may correct inaccuracies and update information when necessary. We do not guarantee that the website or digital delivery systems will operate without interruption.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our website, educational content, and digital resources are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, except for any express promises we make in a product description or separate agreement.
We do not guarantee that a particular strategy, resource, or service will produce a specific outcome for any child, family, educator, or organization.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be waived.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Playful Pathways and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our store or products.
This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, and it does not eliminate remedies available under applicable consumer-protection laws.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Playful Pathways and its service providers from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of our services, infringement of another party’s rights, or material violation of these Terms.
This provision does not apply to claims resulting from our own unlawful conduct or other liabilities that cannot legally be transferred.
18. Termination and Severability
We may suspend or terminate access to our store or services when necessary to address misuse, fraud, security concerns, or material violations of these Terms.
Termination does not eliminate payment obligations already incurred or provisions intended to remain in effect, including intellectual property and applicable liability provisions.
If a provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in a customer’s jurisdiction.
Disputes will be addressed in courts with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement governing a consulting engagement.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, services, operations, or legal obligations.
The current version will be available through our store. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
Changes will not retroactively eliminate rights customers already hold under applicable law.
